Situational Analysis
Service Oklahoma, established to streamline state services, addressed the 2024 Mason Treat Act—mandating vehicle pre-registration—with the “Ready, Set, Tag!” campaign in partnership with Freestyle Creative. This initiative aimed to educate Oklahomans and stakeholders about the new requirements and promote Service Oklahoma’s brand. By employing a catchy, animated approach, the campaign sought to ensure the effective implementation of the Act, which was passed to enhance safety and efficiency in vehicle registration.
Goals
The “Ready, Set, Tag!” campaign had several key goals: to educate Oklahoma residents and stakeholders about the new vehicle pre-registration process mandated by the Mason Treat Act, to facilitate smooth implementation of this process across the state, and to promote Service Oklahoma’s brand as the responsible agency.

Strategy
Freestyle adopted a communication strategy to drive awareness of “Ready, Set, Tag!” among Oklahoma residents, vehicle dealerships and licensed operators. This involved establishing a central online resource hub, amplifying reach through both paid and organic media efforts and empowering key stakeholders with tailored communication kits. Freestyle also used various social media channels and traditional paid media to ensure maximum reach to all Oklahomans.

Creative
The campaign creative delivered a bright, clean aesthetic with straightforward user journeys and clear, step-by-step instructions. By strategically leveraging Service Oklahoma’s brand colors, we reinforced brand identity and made it immediately clear who the message was from. Playful, illustrated graphics brought energy and approachability to the campaign, while concise messaging helped guide users confidently through the registration process.
