Achaaka - Thrive Together

The Chickasaw Nation Home Visitation Program, now known as Achaaka, is seen as a beacon of hope, providing essential education and resources for families to improve outcomes – fostering a nurturing and compassionate community atmosphere. Achaaka provides essential community-based support, cultural education and resources to strengthen families, honor their traditions and foster multi-generational resilience. Freestyle was approached with the challenge to shift the perspective of home visitation to ensure target audiences were not only aware of the support available, but most importantly trust Chickasaw Nation Home Visitation Program home support specialists to be a part of their lives. To accomplish this our team developed surveys to determine audience segment perspectives and potential messaging, allowing us to recommend potential naming conventions and key values within the brand.

Define Your Direction

Define Your Direction (DYD) was created to prevent opioid misuse and underage drinking through community engagement and educational outreach. The campaign aimed to foster resilience while addressing behavioral health challenges through culturally sensitive and research-driven messaging. Freestyle’s strategy for the Define Your Direction campaign centered on a community-focused approach to messaging, emphasizing culture, education and prevention. To effectively reach the audience segments, we did extensive research and implemented a traditional and organic outreach strategy utilizing billboards, broadcast television and organic social media. Furthermore, we developed a comprehensive library of evergreen assets, including a brand guide, videos featuring community voices, informative social content, a documentary highlighting the program’s impact, community murals, billboards and various promotional materials.

Behavioral Impact
Post-campaign surveys showed increased awareness of opioid risks and prevention resources.

Hofanti Chokma

Hofanti Chokma (“to grow well”) is a Chickasaw Nation program that supports healthy child development by providing families with evidence-based parenting tools. The program offers free virtual classes like PAX Tools, NEAR Science training, and parent cafés to build resilience, emotional regulation, and connection.

Freestyle developed a full brand identity and suite of support materials to help parents feel seen, supported, and engaged. Deliverables included:

  • Logo, typography, and visual brand system

  • Class flyers, handouts, and workshop guides

  • Branded merchandise like enamel pins, stickers, and tote bags

Each item reinforced the message that Hofanti Chokma is more than a program. It’s a community. The cohesive branding and engaging materials helped increase awareness and participation, positioning Hofanti Chokma as a trusted and accessible parenting resource.

Pediatric Collaborative

The Chickasaw Nation Pediatric Collaborative (CNPC) connects families with developmental and behavioral health specialists to support early diagnosis and treatment of autism and related conditions. Through telehealth, provider training, and family-centered care, CNPC improves access to resources across rural Oklahoma.

Freestyle created a welcoming brand identity and materials to ensure families and providers understand the support available through CNPC. Deliverables included introductory videos, print collateral and presentations for private and public events. Our work helped increase clarity, access, and engagement, reinforcing CNPC’s mission to support families from the first question to ongoing care.
